The G20 Interfaith Forum (IF20) is one of the leading global organizations focused on the intersection of faith and policy at the G20 level. Since its inception in 2014, the Forum as a network of networks has met in G20 host countries to leverage multi-faith collaboration to promote global peace, prosperity, and sustainability. It serves as a dynamic global platform that facilitates dialogue, bringing together diverse perspectives from religiously inspired institutions and networks to share insights, recommendations, and actionable solutions to address global challenges, polycrisis, and support G20 priorities.

The theme of this year’s Forum will be Resilient Hope, Shared Future. In light of the fact that the United States holds the Presidency of the G20 in 2026, the Forum will be held on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City, Utah from October 15-17, 2026. Please note that the opening ceremony will be held in the historic Tabernacle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will feature addresses from world religious leaders, including LDS President Dallin H. Oaks. It will also include a welcome concert from the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The Catholic Church’s Cathedral of the Madeline in Salt Lake City will host a parallel closing ceremony and farewell concert on October 17. Additionally, there are opportunities to tour and experience the global headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at Temple Square. The tour may include an “Inside a Temple” tour, attending the renowned Music & the Spoken Word performance, and learning about other buildings on Temple Square and nearby.
