Clara Langevin

Clara Langevin is a Senior Manager, AI Policy on the Emerging Technologies team. She focuses on promoting responsible AI adoption across different sectors and creating policy guidance on AI and data ethics, transparency, and explainability. Before joining FAS, Clara was the Head of the AI and Machine Learning Platform at the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Brazil, a World Economic Forum Affiliate where she led projects on public sector AI procurement, healthcare and AI, and precision agriculture. Clara is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (MPA- Development Practice) and the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies.

David Wood

Dr. David A. Wood is passionate about understanding new technologies and implementing them into the curriculum of Brigham Young University, where he works as the Glenn D. Ardis professor of accounting. He has published over 250 articles in a combination of respected academic and practitioner journals, monographs, books, and cases, including a recently released book on AI titled, “Rewiring your Mind for AI: How to Think, Work, and Thrive in the Age of Intelligence”. He has been awarded more than 30 awards for teaching, research, and service contributions. He has helped companies and organizations around the world learn about and implement GenAI and other tech topics. He was previously named by Accounting Today one of the 100 most influential people in accounting. He has worked with the EY Academic Resource Center to (EYARC) to produce https://experience.eyarc.site/, which hosts free, cutting-edge content for universities to use.

Josh Tan

Joshua Tan leads tech at Current AI and Public AI. He also runs Stanford AO, an incubator x lab for autonomous organizations at Stanford OpenLab, and is co-founder of Metagov, a laboratory for engineering institutions. He completed his PhD and postdoc at Oxford and previously held fellowships at Stanford (at the Digital Civil Society Lab), Princeton (in the CS department), and MIT (in the math department). His work explores the intersection between artificial and collective intelligence. Joshua Tan helps lead the movement for public AI. He also leads Stanford AO, an incubator x lab for autonomous organizations, and is co-founder of Metagov, a laboratory for engineering institutions. Manisha Jain

Manisha Jain has spent the last decade plus in Generative AI at Google, Meta and recently at Microsoft. Through projects like Gmail SmartReply and Google Translate, she has seen the power, potential and risks of the Large Language models up close. A thought leader in tech ethics, her published essay "Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Human Dignity, and Technology: Reflections on Benefits and Risks of AI" examines how AI can support foundational human needs while simultaneously threatening higher-level needs like dignity, self-actualization, and connection. Bridging cutting-edge engineering with human-centric strategy, Manisha is dedicated to ensuring AI is guided by strong ethical frameworks that protect humanity and foster a more creative, connected, and compassionate future.
