Christina Tobias-Nahi

Christina Tobias-Nahi joined the Islamic Circle of North America, ICNA Relief, as p/t Director of Government Affairs in DC in late 2025. Prior to this, she served as Director of Public Affairs, Research & Advocacy for Islamic Relief USA for almost two decades with a short 3 year interruption leading a Corporate Social Responsibility project with an overseas focus for the Joint Council on International Children’s Services and Mead Johnson Nutrition. Before relocating to the nation’s capitol she worked in higher education at Harvard University supporting several academic programs and distinguished faculty most noteably with the Islamic Legal Studies Program and the Civil Rights Project.

Mrs Tobias-Nahi holds a M.A. in International Relations from Boston University-Paris Overseas Graduate Center, an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Exec Ed certificates, from Harvard in Public Policy and Colorado State in Community-based Development. Christina lived abroad in Paris for a number of years where she worked with the OECD, and has been blessed over the course of her career to visit over 30 countries for various projects and convenings.

Christina has utilized platforms such as UN Habitat III, the Conference on World Affairs, the G20 Interfaith Summits and even a speaking engagement at the Vatican, to speak about and raise awareness on the refugee crisis and other SDGs.
